Project Manager

Initially hired as a drafter for an independent surveyor in 1985, Dexter had an acumen for computations and attention to detail and took on various survey calculations as well as field crew management, helping to quickly double the size of the business. He completed his field requirements, taught himself AutoCad and basic programming and joined the team at Emerald Coast Associates, Inc. (ECA) in June of 1995 as their Drafting Coordinator, obtaining his surveyors license shortly thereafter. Dexter and two of his associates took ownership of ECA in 2007, holding the company together through a terrible economic downturn for several years and then revving it into one of the premier surveying companies in the panhandle before the acquisition by GeoPoint in June of 2022. Dexter is well-versed in all types of surveying and is happy to lend his many years of experience in both surveying and management to the GeoPoint team.
