This 32 mile 24″ lateral gas pipeline for Florida Power & Light Company’s Riviera Beach Power plant will be used to supply uninterrupted fuel. The $150 million pipeline runs from Florida Power & Light Company Martin plant along State Road 710 to the Riviera Beach Next Generation Clean Energy Center located in West Palm Beach. GeoPoint Surveying, Inc. has been employed by Diamond K Corporation, a Texas based pipeline construction company, to perform pipeline inventory, right of way & temporary easement staking, and as-built surveys. Our surveyors worked closely with welding crews, stringing crews, and inspectors to insure a seamless operation.
In addition, GeoPoint was required to work with CSX railroad inspectors while operations were being conducted within their right of way.
