Port Dolphin 48 Mile Pipeline
GeoPoint Surveying, Inc. is the project Surveyor for the Port Dolphin Pipeline Project. This 48-mile LNG Pipeline will originate in the Gulf of Mexico and run onshore to a storage plant East of Port Manatee. Working for Port Dolphin Energy, LLC, GeoPoint provided the inland pipeline route survey, right-of-way acquisition consulting, right of way maps, descriptions & sketches for parcel takings and easements, topographic and environmental surveying, bridge/right-of-way permit support, and prepared FDEP submerged land lease agreements. In addition, GeoPoint worked closely with Engineers to help define cost effective routes, and was able to complete all aspects of the surveying & mapping portion in a timely and efficient manner.

Buckeye Everglades Jet Fuel Line Relocation
GeoPoint Surveying, Inc., provided surveying services for this 3 mile jet fuel pipeline project driven by Buckeye Gulf Coast Pipe Lines, L.P. for the proposes of the relocation of a major fuel source for Miami International Airport. The Everglades Jet Fuel Pipeline is being relocated to accommodate the Fort Lauderdale Airport Expansion. The proposed route runs through a heavily industrialized area and Port Everglades. GeoPoint Surveying, Inc was selected to assist Florida Land Acquisition to prepare Pipeline Plats, Right-of-Way Maps, and Exhibits. GeoPoint also prepared a full topographic route survey of the proposed line. In addition to the acquisitions portion of this project, GeoPoint is provided all of the construction staking and as-built surveying services.

MAN Diesel BEC Power Plant
This 3-mile onshore pipeline project will ultimately supply fuel to a Bahamas Electricity Corporation power plant that is currently under construction in Wilson City, Abaco Island in the Bahamas. This controversial project was awarded to MAN Diesel Canada, a firm well-known for constructing international power plants. GeoPoint Surveying, Inc., employed by Pipeline Engineering Solutions, Inc., was assigned the task of preparing a route survey for the proposed pipeline design. GeoPoint Surveying's project manager worked closely with Bahamian survey crews and contractors while performing the survey. Our team is planning on returning to the Bahamas in early 2013 to perform the construction layout and prepare the as-built surveys for the pipeline.

Solar Farm
GeoPoint was selected as the primary provider of survey services for this project. GeoPoint's responsibilities included a pre-construction topographic survey completed using our UAV mounted RIEGLl VUX1-LR LiDAR scanner, post height calculations, mapping, and staking for approximately 48000 solar panel support posts. GeoPoint also provided tracker assembly and cable tray layout as well as power converter system locations, meteorological towers and power pole locations for this 75 megawatt solar project covering approximately 550 acres in southeast Hillsborough County.

FPL - Riviera Beach 32 Mile Natural Gas Pipeline
This 32 mile 24" lateral gas pipeline for Florida Power & Light Company's Riviera Beach Power plant will be used to supply uninterrupted fuel. The $150 million pipeline runs from Florida Power & Light Company Martin plant along State Road 710 to the Riviera Beach Next Generation Clean Energy Center located in West Palm Beach. GeoPoint Surveying, Inc. has been employed by Diamond K Corporation, a Texas based pipeline construction company, to perform pipeline inventory, right of way & temporary easement staking, and as-built surveys. Our surveyors worked closely with welding crews, stringing crews, and inspectors to insure a seamless operation. In addition, GeoPoint was required to work with CSX railroad inspectors while operations were being conducted within their right of way. Our reputation of accuracy and attentiveness grew exponentially on this project. GeoPoint's surveyors kindle good relationships with project employees as well as our clients in order to provide project succes.

Copano Energy Gas Pipeline
GeoPoint Surveying, Inc. prepared topographic right of way maps, pipeline plats, GIS Exhibits, and Alignment sheets for this 13 mile Copano Energy pipeline. The Eagle Ford Shale play is the most active Oil & Gas resource being tapped today. This project is for the expansion of capacity to deliver gas from well sites to trunklines. GeoPoint worked closely with land agents and owners to acquire lands necessary for construction. GeoPoint was selected to perform the construction staking and as-builts for this project.

Pinecastle Impact Range
GeoPoint Surveying was selected by NAVFAC Southeast Florida to perform a Boundary Survey of the 5,700 acre Pinecastle Impact Range located in Marion and Lake County, Florida. GeoPoint researched Naval records as well as worked with local title companies to help define the limits of the range. This was the first time the range boundary was actually surveyed and required intense research, field work, and historical recreation.

Perry Harvey Park
GeoPoint was selected to prepare a boundary survey and design topographic survey of Perry Park for the purposes of inner-city redevelopment. In addition, GeoPoint helped with 3D Scanning of the historic Perry Harvey Skate Bowl in order to recreate it in a different location to the exact measurements it was originally built to. GeoPoint continued to be part of the project all the way through construction.

City of Westlake
GeoPoint prepared the initial boundary survey, from which the City of Westlake was formed. This project was full of pitfalls from the beginning, which required enormous amounts of research and field work. GeoPoint continues to be the Surveyor of Record for all construction and platting.
